Just Another Manic Monday

It's now 2:49 AM. Home from work. No, we didn't just finish another Friday night dinner. It's Monday. Well, at least it was a few hours ago.

About 10 hours ago I picked Joseph up at his backdoor and we headed to SGR for Starbucks to kill time before our planned event at Halifax feast with the boys. We went for walk, as we do. A walk for life. A walk to stalk boys. A Stalk for Life. We were both so consumed by one individual that we sauntered our way across the crosswalk, being narrowly missed by several speeding vehicles who coincidentally were paying more attention to traffic rules than we were. It was time to pickup the guys and head to the show...

After a Feast of pretzels, Baileys and Lowered Expectations (newlyweds) at the Benefit Cabaret, Jo and I dropped Scott, Stephen and Gilles off at home. They likely had a sense for what was next on our agenda and wanted no part of it. They were right to do so.

"Let's just go to the Fireside for a drink and some apps"

mhmm....

The kitchen was closed when we arrived. So, we decided that 2 drinks would suffice for dinner. Hey, we're easy going. I had draught and Jo opted for soapy "sour apple" martinis. While sitting by the fire we came to the startling realization this evening that we're actually on the Truman Show. This explains our ongoing celebacy. They're watching and listening... the producers are editing the footage to make us look bad. It's all been rigged. Mark Burnett is the devil. We're really NOT bad people! lol It's all clear now. We plan to prove this theory by catching a flight to San Francisco, at which point we believe the plane with burst through the cardboard skyline. It all seems very logical, really.

After a few hours of boyfriend patrol in the corner, the lights came on (Nictaux flashback) and we scurried our way out the door. Joseph decided that he should give his old roommate a call... just to see how she's doing. Right.

Next thing I know we're at the Bitter End sitting with old roomie Rachel, Hotel Rowanda (roomie reunion) and their entourage, the Himachi staff, for "Endless Bartab Tour, Oct. 2006" Again... it's Monday.
I had an Illusion. It's all an illusion... There's too much confusion.

It was an evening of sightings. Bubbles was spotted sans goggles at the bar. We wondered why he wasn't at his own bar. A certain french Peter was discovered having permiscuous phone conversations in the bathroom stall and later gave us a PDA demo with his gf in the corner. We discussed Beat the Bank and other current events which bring on severe amounts of anxiety. The girls enjoyed our periodic camera confessions. "Don't edit that. I want that on the record". They were all fun times. Lipliner - no.

What next? Duh, BK junior whoppers w/ cheese. It's tomorrow's breakfast... early. We're on top of things.
